Hahaha very funny XD!
Rather than dull I find Dawkins (or should I say ‘Dorkins’ since we are jesting? har har har!) very puerile.
Usually people who ‘adore’ him are young adolescents (or older people who still have to grow up…) who like to blast against God and Religion with no idea of what they are talking about.
In a sense the New Atheism is like racist comedy.
Remember Tom and Jerry cartoons when one would get burned and he’d look like a ‘stereotype negro’?
Funny (unless you are a committed PC person) but offensive, and completely misrepresenting what they are showing… There just like that!
So it’s not a surprise that ignorant young people (who think arrogantly they ‘know stuff’ because they check wikipedia) fall into the tricks of Dawkins&Co.
You just need to shut your brain down and laugh at someone’s expense, and there you are ready to be a sheep in Dawkins’ flock.
A big fan of Bishop Fulton Sheen and LOVE the poster advertisement – it can be so useful on so many levels. Might be nice on a New York billboard! As for Dawkins, it isn’t too late yet, maybe he will eventually become the great convert surprise of himself and many others who follow him as an atheist.
(laughing quietly)
Umm … a little time on your hands, Patrick?
Jealous.
