AGREE! let us be the definer!
Start a challenge to come up with the best definition that JPII would concur.
    As above—
“Rather than expunge the perfectly legitimate term “culture of death” from the Wikipedia site, why not simply encourage people to write a more substantive article? It sure seems like a case of left-wing bias to me.”

Not, it’s not a big deal, but it does seem absurd that many other cultural phenomena concepts, such as “Generation X” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_x), the “sexual revolution” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_revolution), and the so-called “far right” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Far_right), remain untouched on Wikipedia.

Rather than expunge the perfectly legitimate term “culture of death” from the Wikipedia site, why not simply encourage people to write a more substantive article? It sure seems like a case of left-wing bias to me.

This isn’t such a big deal: WP’s sister project, the dictionary site Wiktionary, has a page on “Culture of Death”, so the concept gets a brief treatment.

Ultimately there ought to be a Wikipedia article on “Culture of Death” with documentation about the history of the term; but since the existing article had little more than a dictionary definition, it sort of makes sense to move it to the dictionary project.

This is interesting, but Conservipedia is even more ridiculous. Neither site is trustworthy, as anyone can change it. Conservapedia notes several supposed instances of liberal bias in Wikipedia, but their top example is completely accurate…
