Do not learn from this man

Hands down, this guy is the least motivating motivational speaker I have ever run across. And the funniest, too. My favorite line is, “You can do anything that you think that you can do.” As one person commented, I’m just glad he didn’t think he could fly.

    LOL!

    Orthodoxy: The Maniac, GK Chesterton:
The publisher said of somebody, “That man will get on; he believes in himself.” And I remember that as I lifted my head to listen, my eye caught an omnibus on which was written “Hanwell.” I said to him, “Shall I tell you where the men are who believe most in themselves? For I can tell you. I know of men who believe in themselves more colossally than Napoleon or Caesar. I know where flames the fixed star of certainty and success. I can guide you to the thrones of the Super-men. The men who really believe in themselves are all in lunatic asylums.”

"…its your own fault, its not anyone else's fault, its yours for not coming up with a suitable alternative or for giving up or…..or somethin'

his suitable alternative would have been to indeed give up, but try instead for a goal worth achieving. headache jokes aside, i wonder how he really felt about himself and the advice he just gave when he finished shooting this video.

"Anyway, what does this post have to do with Christianity?"

You'll find that Mr. Madrid posts a lot of Christian articles but he'll also post something just for either comedic relief or just fun. Believe me. We need both.

  7. LarryD says:

Anyway, what does this post have to do with Christianity?

Everything. Following Christ is smarter than repeatedly smashing a board over your head.

My two year-old found it funny…

But to his credit, he really did put his mind to it… what ever of it he had left. 😉

Would you find him entertaining for a group of nine-year olds?

  13. Paul says:

How many brain cells did he lose making this video?

  14. Jaystar and alower says:

Totally hilarious! I like it when he can't break the wood, and after trying several times, grabs a NEW piece of wood!
