According to Forbes:

Virgin America is opening a brand-new, high-tech, green terminal at San Francisco International airport today. To mark the occasion, a jet full of VIPs and members of the press left SFO’s international terminal, flew north along the Pacific, and made an in-flight rendezvous with Virgin Galactic’s White Knight Two and SpaceShipOne. They flew wing-to-wing back to SFO and landed in tandem.

  1. Terence says:

I applaud the human ingenuity and desire for discovery through a commercial space flight opportunity offered to the public. My only concern is that such huge ticket prices could probably be better spent elsewhere on philanthropical causes for the needs of the starving and suffering masses. Perhaps certain rich people have their priorities mixed up.

    God bless you!
